Click on the ? help button to locate how to install the solver. On the Mac it is located under the tools menu. On the PC you will probably have to install the solver. Use the help function to find the instructions how to install the solver.
Students were given a colored coded template that was placed on Moodle so students could follow along with Mrs. Hess. The colored coded template really helped the students locate appropriate cells when doing the problems the first few times in class. The students learned the process of setting the problems up in the excel spreadsheet in a table, as well as using the solver to determine the answer to the problem.
